Razay Holiday Cottages

About Razay:

Razay is situated in the beautiful Loire Valley, famous for its wines and historic châteaux, just a short drive from the famous château de Chenonceau. Montrichard and Loches are close by with their recreational facilities (tennis, boating and horse riding).

A World Heritage Site, The Loire is famed for its soft, fertile countryside and a marvellous parade of chateaux. This is the 'Garden of France' where spring comes early, summers are warm and the golden days of autumn bring a rich harvest.

The city of Tours is just 45 minutes away, which makes its international airport very handy. Futuroscope is 90 mins away.

The village of Céré-la-Ronde is only a 5-minute bike ride away and has a small épicerie, patisserie and bar/restaurant.

The countryside has a wealth of wildlife and many quiet lanes and woods begging to be explored by bike.

Facilities Include:

Our 15-acre property has a private, well-stocked Carp fishing lake (for the exclusive use of guests) and overlooks its own small château. There is also a fenced, heated swimming pool; indoor badminton/sports hall; a well equipped fitness suite; table tennis, barbecues (one each per cottage), children’s play equipment in the large gardens (including a large trampoline); laundry room - all available at no extra charge.

In addition, we have 2 quad bikes available for hire and for sole use of our guests, for use in our fields and woods. (Ages 14+ Only). The circuit is located well away from the cottages and buildings so as not to disturb the peace & tranquility of the rural setting.

The Stables - sleeps 10

The Cottages: Each has 3 bedrooms - one double with superking size bed, 1 twin room and 1 triple bedroom that can also be a double (with superking) and a single. They also have a shower-room with WC, a living/dining room with wood-burning stove, modern fitted kitchen (including dishwasher), garden area with teak garden furniture and a large barbecue.

The Stables: 5 bedrooms - one double with kingsize bed, 3 double/twins (doubles are superking size beds) and one twin (with bunk beds). There are also 2 shower-rooms with WCs, a large modern fitted kitchen (with dishwasher), living/dining room, garden area to the front with teak garden furniture and large barbecue, and a private, enclosed courtyard garden to the rear.

Cots are available. There are electric radiators if the weather is cool. Bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided at no extra charge. Beds are made up for you.
