Use of the fishing lake is free, however, in order to ensure child safety and to promote humane fishing, we have some basic rules that we ask everyone to adhere to:

1. Children must be supervised in the vicinity of the lake.
2. Children under 14 must be accompanied.
3. No tackle or bait is provided, you will need to provide your own.
4. Barb-less hooks only must be used.
5. No keep nets.
6. A suitable landing net (preferably micromesh) and unhooking mat must be used at all times.
7. Nets must be dipped before fishing.
8. Do not leave fishing rods or tackle unattended.
9. Fish are not to be removed from the Lake.
10. Please take all litter and unused bait away and place in the bins.
11. We recommend main line should be at least 10lb (4.5kg) with size 4 – 14 hooks.
